Fair Haven is a Primitive Baptist church — a congregation of believers who worship simply, preach grace, and strive to follow the New Testament pattern for the church. We hold to the doctrines of salvation by grace, through the finished work of Jesus Christ alone

Our worship is simple and heartfelt. We sing hymns a cappella (without instruments), pray together, and hear the preaching of God’s Word. There are no programs or performances — just family integrated worship centered on Christ and the truth of Scripture.

At Fair Haven Primitive Baptist Church in Tifton, Georgia, we believe that young children are a blessing from the Lord — not a burden, and certainly not a distraction. We are a family-friendly church that rejoices to see parents bring their little ones into the worship service. When families gather together before the Lord — young and old, side by side — it paints a beautiful picture of the body of Christ united in praise.

We understand that children may sometimes grow restless or make a little noise, and that’s perfectly fine. We would much rather hear the joyful sounds of life among God’s people than the silence of empty pews where families should be. Parents should never feel uneasy or pressured to step out unless truly necessary. (We have recently added a mother's room onto the sanctuary with a one-way window so there is place where one can step out when it is necessary without having to be removed from the worship service.)

We’re thankful for every family that comes and for each child who grows up under the sound of the gospel. We encourage you to bring your children and let them experience the worship of God’s people — the singing, the prayers, the reading of Scripture, and the preaching of the Word.

We hold to the doctrines of sovereign grace and practice a simple, family integrated spirit-led form of worship based on the patterns found in the New Testament Church without adding any modern programs or instrumental music.

If you are traveling East on Hwy 82, we about a quarter mile past Stephen's Wrecker Service on the right side of the road before you get to the Connor Behavioral Therapy Group.

We meet each Sunday morning for worship at 10:30 AM, and visitors are always welcome. We also meet for Bible Study on Sunday Evenings at 5:00 PM and Wednesday Evenings at 7:00 PM.
